The Brackenridge Golf Course in owned by the City of San Antonio, the oldest 18-hole public course in the state, was designed in 1915 by renowned golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast. The front nine is lined by ancient oak and pecan trees, the back nine is more open, bringing the wind into play.
"Old Brack" was recently honored as the first golf facility listed in the Texas Registry of Historic Sites. The Brack was the first ever host to the Texas Open Golf Tournament in 1922. This historic golf course has the honor of being the first inductee into the Texas Golf Hall of Fame.
Brackenridge Park Golf Course islocated just north of downtown San Antonio, this course is accessible for locals and visitors alike.
