Things have changed... In today's home buying process Buyers have the same access to the homes for sale data as us Realtors. This website for example is updated every 5 minutes with that MLS information. With home buyers able to search the most up-to-date current homes for sale in real time, it makes our job much easier. Therefor we can offer a portion our commission back to you the home buyer.
Although everything in real estate is negotiable we will use 6% in this example. A traditional listing fee works as so... An Agent/Realtor charges a homeowner a 6% commission, the agent could then sell the listing to his/her own clients and receive the full commission. Most often an Agent looks towards the thousands of San Antonio Realtors to help sell the property quickly, this is done by entering the home in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) system. Once listed in the MLS system a commission is then offered to a cooperating Agent (Buyers Agent), most often the commission is split 3% - 3% ( although everything is negotiable). Now that we have an idea of how the fees are paid and or split, lets see how we can rebate a portion of our buyers agent commission.
As mentioned above you will be helping us locate the prefect home for you and your family, thus rewarding you with a portion of our commission, 1% of sale price on pre-owned homes....
With new construction homes you offer even more help, when you are out touring new builder community homes for sale, simply let then know you are work with Peter DiBenedetto of Realty United when signing in. Once you locate a home and add us as your Realtor, we then will rebate 1.5% of the base sale price on that new construction homes. Please bring Rebate Notice Form with you when you are visiting New Home Communities.
